Once your payment is complete, don’t forget to wait for the final question. This is the skills competition part of the game. If you answer the question right (don’t worry, it’s easy!), then your tickets will be considered valid for the drawing. If not… well, we’re afraid that you’ll have to start over!

When the contest deadline runs out, we’ll see how many tickets were sold. If we sold enough (200,000), then a winner will be randomly selected by a third party company.

The first reason most house contests don’t succeed is legal. There are a lot of finicky rules that we have to follow so that the government or our payment processors don’t think we’re running a gambling operation or a scam. The second reason is that there are not enough sales. We don’t want to be ruined if only five people buy tickets! That’s why we’ve set a minimum number of tickets needed before we will give away the house. If you compare the property value of the home compared to others in the local area, we believe we have set a reasonable sale price.
